Wine & Food Tour departure from Milan and return to Milan.
Starting at 8 h, after one hour and half of trip we reach the Langhe, in the deep south west of the Piedmont region , the area of production of the most valuable Italian wines like Barolo and Barbaresco.Our journey takes place in the lush hills overlooking Alba, surrounded by vineyards and along tree-lined streets of hazelnuts. The view is impressive, on a clear day you can admire the snow-capped Alps constantly.
The first tasting is in the typical area of production of Barolo, but you will taste Barbera as well , Nebbiolo and Roero Arneis.
At 13 h lunch in a local restaurant to taste the famous Piedmont’s specialties as anchovies in green, the bagna caoda, veal with tuna sauce, the noodles with truffles, ravioli del plin with sauce of three roasts, boiled meat, the selection of Piedmont cheeses such as the Murazzano, robiola Roccaverano, and the tome of pasture and as dessert the “bunet” hazelnut parfait composed by the hazelnut called “Tonda Gentile” from Langhe.
In the afternoon we propose a wine tasting in the production area of Barbaresco: a tasting of its wines and a cheese Experience with the truffle hunter. You will taste sample wines and food and you will admire the landscape quietly and unhurriedly, since we want that this day among the “monuments of taste” remains imprinted in your mind.
